Erin believes words have the power to heal, influence, and shape the world. She is convinced that some of our most transformational moments happen in small circles where women pursue Jesus with authenticity and vulnerability, and she is passionate about helping women know their God-assigned value and purpose.
After studying Broadcast Journalism and Speech Communications at Northern Arizona University, Erin spent nearly 20 years in corporate, non-profit, and agency communications writing about enterprise software, spacecraft hardware, Walt Disney Resorts beverage programs, and virtually everything in between. Now, Erin leverages her communications experience and aptitude to build resources and environments that foster and multiply what Jesus designates as two most important commandments: to love God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength - and love your neighbor as yourself.
As a volunteer at a local church, Erin’s passion for ministry and personal storytelling emerged. She has led small group studies for women, as well as couples alongside her husband, John, and has had a hand in expanding ministry opportunities for women to go deeper in vulnerability with God and one another. She has witnessed the power of testimony first-hand and loves helping people find and tell their God story. Erin has written and produced nearly 100 print and video stories that capture personal accounts of found faith, trauma and relational healing, and God’s redemptive work in His sons and daughters.
Erin recalls a time when she insisted that she would only write on behalf of other people, and would never write a book of her own. But God had other plans and began depositing messages in Erin’s heart that she just couldn’t keep to herself. As co-author of Be Together Co. small group curriculum and other written works aimed at helping people understand and apply God’s Word, Erin’s goal remains the same: to introduce people to the rich and faithful love of God.
A Southern California native, John and Erin live in Orange County, CA with their two daughters. She enjoys cooking for loved ones, exploring new cities, and family game nights with lots of popcorn and ice cream. Connect with her on social media @erincstone
